The seminar will share the lessons learnt from WFP and its partners’ emergency response to the 3/11 tsunami in Tohoku, introduce disaster risk reduction (DRR) efforts by the international community in other countries and recommend preparations for future emergencies so as to provide valuable inputs to the post-2015 framework for DRR.
