National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) and UNESCO will hold an international symposium on effective disaster management policies against tsunamis, earthquakes etc. based on the research results of GRIPS and lessons learnt from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake/Tsunami and other world huge disasters. In addition this event provides an opportunity to exchange views of students.
