Our Engawa project tries to create exactly such a place, where people can communicate with each other and build relationships. Today, we, the organizers of this program, Natori city Social welfare conference, and volunteer students, would like to introduce our aims and activities, explaining how we work together with the local government. In doing so, we would like to propose a way for people to contribute, even If only in a small way, to town-development, reconstruction and disaster prevention.
