The European Union is developing ambitious policies and programmes on disaster risk reduction and resilience. Tools, actions and innovative approaches will be showcased. This includes risk assessment, cross border cooperation, data collection and sharing, early alerting, indexes to support common analysis of the risks faced by vulnerable communities, governance tools, ecosystem-based approaches etc.
