This event introduces the development of the Looking Beyond Disaster Youth Forums initiatives by the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO, UNESCO in partnership with youth organisations, universities and Christchurch authorities, which was started in response to the major earthquake in Christchurch, NZ in 2011. From the series of forums 2012-2013, a toolkit has been developed to enable more young people to become involved.
