Today, developing resilient communities and empowering people to respond to increasing disasters are unquestionably critical. This symposium will focus on possibilities of education in formal, non-formal, and informal settings to develop resilience of communities and people based on reports of experiences in the area afflicted by Great East Japan Earthquake.
