In this forum, we will discuss ways for designing and implementing better post-disaster response policies in the global South, from a multidisciplinary perspective. Drawing on the case of Chile, a disaster prone country, focusing on four dimensions of post-disaster response: preparing for disasters, health and mental health response, humanitarian aid, engaging citizens in this process.
